After 12 years of existence Vin et Santé changes editor.

Convinced of the benefits of wine, new editors, Sandrine and Nicolas, continue to reiterate that, thanks to the wine grower, this guide exists. “Indeed, we want to prove the benefits of wine on one’s health, and we hope that that message is heard: LET US DRINK LESS and DRINK BETTER. Our engagement remains the same: while we advocate wine’s benefactors and gustatory qualities we must also defend its heritable qualities: wine and the wine grower form an important part of our CULTURAL heritage”.
While following in the tradition of precedent editions, the guide of 2008 guide will explore the domains (wines of Burgundy, wines of Bordeaux, wines of Alsace…) of France’s wine producing regions, and equally Switzerland. Each presented vintage is tasted then tested by our sommeliers. A scientific test measures the Polyphenol rate (mg/l) of the year presented.
The guide is also the occasion for members of the medical or scientific profession to reconfirm the benefits of moderate wine consumption.
A process which is carefully controlled at each step by its producers, wine making has experienced a slow evolution of tastes and cultures.
Today “when pace of daily life has grown” wine, its development, its construction, remains one of the rare fields where the know-how of its producers, is transmitted from generation to generation.
Our 2008 guide contains photographs of families who are passionate wine growers. As the influence of the internet continues to grow, we are working to increase the visibility of www.vins-et-sante.com.
It is with our pleasure to bring to our readers many pleasant surprises!
And that Vin et Santé, continues to grow!
See you soon.
